Morgan Strong is a senior piercer and has been piercing for about 17 years. With his expert experience, he works not only as a piercer but as our piercing manager for River City Tattoo. Usually you can catch him at our Scott’s Addition location but he does make an appearance at most locations!
Originally from Los Angeles, Morgan has made RVA his home since late 2020.

When he’s not piercing or traveling to conventions - you can usually find him holed up in his home with his partner, their 3 toothed cat and the best/worst dog ever. Typically building Gundam models or spreading democracy for Super Earth.

Jordan Cooke started her apprenticeship with the RCT family and has been a fully licensed artist at our South Park location for just a little over a year. Although she may be new to the industry, Jordan is always working hard to improve her skill and work with a range of styles. Her knowledge and experience as a VCU arts alumni shines through her work.

Jordan might be the perfect fit for you - she advocates a safe space for all and welcomes queer, POC and neurodivergent folks. Ensuring comfortability, knowledge and a focus on longevity, Jordan is passionate about sharing her love for tattooing.

River City Tattoo & Piercing Co. was established in 2002 by master piercer Jessica Simmons and has always been on the forefront of the industry in standards of quality and cleanliness. Simmons was appointed by the Governor of Virginia to the Board for Barber’s and Cosmetology as the state representative for the tattooing and body piercing industry, and now serves as an instructor for the Red Cross. In addition to overseeing the RCT Body Piercing Apprenticeship Program and Children’s Piercing Team, Jessica still pierces four days a week at our flagship Blvd location, serves on the board at Culture Works and is expanding her line of all natural piercing aftercare products.
